The concept of "Bringing Your Own Device" is to allow students the opportunity to bring in their device to school for use in the classroom. There are some limitations and rules regarding what they can and cannot do with their devices while they are in the school buildings. Please read the entire BYOD Policy, but here are some of the key components:
- Students are able to bring in any Internet capable device, however, we do not offer the ability to charge them.
- Users must submit a completed and signed Student Use of Personal MLD Agreement.
- Students may Not use any Mobile Learning Devices to record, transmit or post photos or video of a person without the individual’s knowledge and consent.
- District personnel are not responsible for the security or care of the device.
- Use of the network is subject to the Internet User Agreement Policy.
- Students may use their device at the discretion of the teacher and class that they are in.
- The use of private 3G/4G wireless connections is prohibited.
